Generalized synchronization of discrete systems

Generalized synchronization of two discrete systems was discussed. By constructing appropriately nonlinear coupling terms, some sufficient conditions for determining the generalized synchronization between the drive and response systems were derived. In a positive invariant and bounded set, many chaotic maps satisfy the sufficient conditions. The effectiveness of the sufficient conditions is illustrated by three examples.

Spatial estimates for transient and steady-state solutions in transversely isotropic plates of Mindlin-type

This paper concerns with a state of bending for a linear transversely isotropic plate model based on the Mindlin assumption on the displacement. By using appropriate families of line-integral measures, we are able to establish results about the spatial behaviour of transient and steady-state solutions. All the results are obtained under relaxed hypotheses on the positive definiteness of the elasticity tensor.     

Counting the number of indecomposable representations and a q-analogue of the Weyl-Kac denominator identity of type _n

By using Frobenius maps and F-stable representations,we count the number of isomor- phism classes of indecomposable representations with the fixed dimension vector of a species of type _n over a finite field,first,and then,as an application,give a q-analogue of the Weyl-Kac denominator identity of type _n.     

Permanence for a delayed periodic predator-prey model with prey dispersal in multi-patches and predator density-independent

In this paper, we study two species time-delayed predator-prey Lotka-Volterra type dispersal systems with periodic coefficients, in which the prey species can disperse among n patches, while the density-independent predator species is confined to one of patches and cannot disperse. Sufficient conditions on the boundedness, permanence and existence of positive periodic solution for this systems are established. The theoretical results are confirmed by a special example and numerical simulations.     

Global dynamics behaviors for a nonautonomous Lotka–Volterra almost periodic dispersal system with delays

A nonautonomous Lotka–Volterra dispersal system with continuous delays and discrete delays is considered. By using a comparison theorem and delay differential equation basic theory, we obtain sufficient conditions for the permanence of the population in every patch. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, we prove that the system is globally asymptotically stable under some appropriate conditions. Using almost periodic functional hull theory, we get sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness and globally asymptotical stability for an almost periodic solution. This implies that the population in every patch exhibits stable almost periodic fluctuation. Furthermore, the results show that the permanence and global stability of system, and the existence and uniqueness of a positive almost periodic solution, depend on the delay; then we call it “profitless”.     

Weighted boundedness of parametric Marcinkiewicz integral and higher order commutator

In this paper, the weighted boundedness of parametric Marcinkiewicz integral and its commutator with rough kernels are considered. In addition, the weak type norm inequalities for parametric Marcinkiewicz integral and its commutator with different weight functions and Dini kernel are also discussed.     

Permanence and stability in multi-species non-autonomous Lotka–Volterra competitive systems with delays and feedback controls

In this paper, we consider a multi-species Lotka–Volterra type competitive system with delays and feedback controls. A general criteria on the permanence is established, which is described by integral form and independent of feedback controls. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals, a set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions are derived for global stability of any positive solution to the model.     

构造和评价奖惩系统的新方法

当知道一个奖惩系统的等级和保费水平时,利用信息熵提出并得到奖惩系统的理想概率分布．在保单中考虑人身伤亡索赔次数的二元模型,将奖惩系统的平稳概率分布与理想概率分布的差异,通过卡方值与多余度分别表现出来,将其作为评价奖惩系统的一个新工具．     

THE ELLIPSOID ARTIFICIAL BOUNDARY METHOD FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL UNBOUNDED DOMAINS

The artificial boundary method is applied to solve three-dimensional exterior problems. Two kind of rotating ellipsoids are chosen as the artificial boundaries and the exact artificial boundary conditions are derived explicitly in terms of an infinite series. Then the well-posedness of the coupled variational problem is obtained. It is found that error estimates derived depend on the mesh size, truncation term and the location of the artificial boundary. Three numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method.
